Merchandise Product design
The merchandising product designer is responsible for the development and creation of merchandise assets of a brand such as accessories, clothing and other products. This is a hands-on role – taking the initiative to identify needs in our product line-up while achieving buy-in from others. This role will work closely with manufacturers and cross-functional departments to deliver products and designs that meet customer needs.
All product designers act as client advocates, holding themselves responsible for seeing that the company delivers a product that meets user needs while also being safe, effective, aesthetic, and true to the company’s brand. While a product designer might wear many hats, their principal task is still to design. A product designer will use their knowledge of color, typography, detail, and other design elements to create a product. |
